
A late-night house party in West Sacramento ended with gunfire just after midnight on Sunday, sending a 19-year-old man to the hospital and leaving police searching for answers.
Officers arrived on the 800 block of Casselman Drive and found the teenager suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and was reported to be in stable condition Sunday morning. The West Sacramento Police Department says the investigation is ongoing and that some evidence was recovered at the scene, but so far officers have not released any suspect information.

According to KCRA, officers were called out shortly after midnight and discovered the 19-year-old at what appeared to be a house party. The outlet reports that the victim was transported to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening and was listed in stable condition as of Sunday morning.
