Baltimore County firefighters spent part of Thursday battling a three-alarm house fire in Windsor Mill, flooding the 7400 block of Brixworth Court with emergency crews. Crews worked into the afternoon to knock down heavy flames and secure the scene, and county officials said no injuries were reported.
According to Fox Baltimore, the department requested a third-alarm response and alerted the American Red Cross and BGE as firefighters continued working to extinguish the blaze. WBFF reported that a photo from the scene was credited to the Baltimore County Fire Department.
Past blazes on Brixworth Court
Per WMAR2 News, the 7400 block has seen major fire activity before. A March 2025 apartment blaze there displaced dozens of residents and left multiple units uninhabitable. That earlier incident drew a multi-alarm response and brought in the Red Cross to assist displaced households.
What officials say and what comes next
Officials had not immediately released a cause for Thursday's fire and did not provide a timeline for when investigators would be able to enter the structure, according to Fox Baltimore. Residents in the area could see power interruptions or road closures while crews and utility workers continue to secure the scene.
Authorities asked people to steer clear of the area while emergency operations continue, and local channels, along with county accounts, are expected to post updates as more information becomes available.
