
Gunfire on a Northwest Baltimore block sent an 18-year-old man to the hospital on Dec. 9, 2025, police said. Officers were called around 7:42 p.m. to the 3000 block of Ridgewood Avenue, where they found the victim with a gunshot wound to his hand. He was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and a person of interest was detained at the scene.
Police: Suspect Arrested and Charged
According to the Baltimore Police Department, 18-year-old Delvon Bryant of Baltimore County was arrested after a brief foot pursuit and taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility. Detectives charged Bryant with attempted first- and second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault, and multiple handgun violations. Police say the investigation is still active and have not released a possible motive.

WBFF reported that officers responded to calls about gunfire in the 3000 block of Ridgewood Avenue around 7:42 p.m., where they found the 18-year-old with a gunshot wound to his hand and arranged for him to be taken to an area hospital. As WBFF noted, officers initially detained a person of interest at the scene before the later arrest.
