Deputies in southwest Bexar County are investigating after a body was discovered along a set of railroad tracks Monday afternoon near a quiet stretch just outside Loop 1604.
The body was found near the intersection of Pue Road and Wolf Road, where law enforcement crews moved in and blocked off the area while investigators processed the scene. Officials have not yet released the person’s identity or how they died, and the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office says the case remains open.

According to KSAT, the discovery was reported around 1:30 p.m. Monday near Pue and Wolf roads, just outside Loop 1604. The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office told KSAT that “charges are pending” and that the investigation is still active. Investigators have not shared additional details, and there was no further information immediately available.
