Luna Bakery & Café, the Cleveland-born bakeshop led by pastry chef Bridget Thibeault, is headed to Valor Acres in Brecksville in fall 2026. The new spot is slated to bring house-made pastries, coffee and a full breakfast and lunch lineup, plus catering and custom cakes, as Valor Acres keeps building out an all-day neighborhood around the Sherwin-Williams research campus and nearby apartments.
Developer DiGeronimo Companies confirmed the deal in a May 15 press release, noting that Luna is expected to debut at Valor Acres in Fall 2026, according to DiGeronimo Companies. The release outlines a menu of crêpes, paninis, soups, salads and pastry arrangements and describes Luna as “high-quality, approachable and community driven” that will help “activate the campus throughout the day.”
Thibeault opened Luna’s original café on Fairmount Boulevard in Cleveland Heights in 2011, then grew the brand to locations in Moreland Hills and downtown Cleveland. The bakery also opened a central production facility in 2021 to support further growth, according to Luna Bakery & Café. That production hub is the backbone that allows Luna to branch into more suburban and campus settings.
What Luna Will Serve
The Valor Acres café is expected to lean into the morning and midday crowd with house-made pastries, coffee and espresso drinks, crêpes, panini, soups and salads, and it will take orders for custom wedding cakes and elaborate pastry arrangements, as reported by Cleveland Scene. The outlet also notes that Luna plans to provide breakfast and lunch catering for offices and campus events, giving nearby workers one more excuse to call a meeting.
Where It Fits In Valor Acres
Luna is set to join a growing lineup of restaurants at Valor Acres, including Masu and Flour, and will land inside the walkable campus that features Canvas residential units and a Sherwin-Williams Research & Development center, per Valor Acres. Developers have emphasized a mix of dining, green space and apartments designed to keep people on site from morning coffee to evening outings.
Exact opening dates and daily hours are still under wraps. Both the developer and Luna say they will release more details as the fall 2026 opening gets closer, and customers are encouraged to keep an eye on Luna's website for updates. For Brecksville residents and Sherwin-Williams employees, the arrival adds another independent bakery option as the suburb continues to shape a downtown-style dining scene of its own.
