Police are searching for a woman who allegedly stabbed two men and slashed a third outside North Central Bronx Hospital in the Norwood section of the Bronx on Wednesday evening, according to officials. All three victims walked into the hospital on their own for treatment and are expected to recover.

The confrontation erupted around 6 p.m. in front of 3424 Kossuth Ave, investigators said. Before the knives came out, a woman and another man argued with three men. As reported by News 12 The Bronx, the woman allegedly slashed a 28-year-old man on the hand with a cutting instrument, stabbed an 18-year-old in the torso, and stabbed a 24-year-old in the back of the head.

All three men then went into the hospital to receive care and are expected to be OK, officials said.

Investigators are now asking for the public’s help in tracking down the woman involved. Anyone with information is urged to contact the NYPD Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or submit tips online. According to NYPD Crime Stoppers, tips can be submitted anonymously and may be eligible for a reward.

Violent Incidents Across the Borough This Week

The Norwood incident comes amid a string of sharp-object attacks reported across the Bronx this week. In a separate case in Fordham, two men were wounded in a machete slashing earlier this week. That case was reported by NBC New York, which noted that both victims were taken to St. Barnabas Hospital and are expected to survive.

North Central Bronx Hospital is located at 3424 Kossuth Ave in Norwood, according to NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx. Anyone with information about Wednesday’s attack is asked again to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
