A quiet stretch of Washington Street turned into a crime scene before sunrise Friday when several gunshots hit a home in Aberdeen while nine people were inside, according to police.
The shooting happened around 4:17 a.m. on May 22 in the 400 block of Washington Street. Although multiple bullets struck the house, no one inside was hurt. Responding officers spoke with all nine occupants of the residence after the gunfire.
As reported by Fox Baltimore, the Aberdeen Police Criminal Investigations Division and the department's Crime Scene Unit responded and took over the case. Investigators said several rounds hit the home and that they canvassed the neighborhood for witnesses and any physical evidence.
