Laid-back coastal style is about to meet suburban shopping powerhouse. Faherty Brand is headed to King of Prussia Mall, bringing its flannels, linen and other easygoing staples to one of the region’s busiest retail hubs. Mall officials have not yet announced when the new shop will open.
Where It Will Be
The mall’s official store directory lists Faherty as “Coming Soon” at the King of Prussia complex, according to Simon. Local outlet WhatNow reports the store will land in an upper-level spot between Lilly Pulitzer and Lucky Brand Jeans.
About Faherty
The label launched in 2013, founded by twins Mike and Alex Faherty along with Kerry Docherty, and grew from a mobile pop-up into a national apparel business, according to Faherty Brand's website. Entrepreneur recently reported the company now operates more than 80 stores across the country. The brand is best known for casual staples such as flannels and its signature “Legend Sweater Shirt,” per Wikipedia.
Why King Of Prussia
King of Prussia has been loading up on experience-driven attractions and new food and entertainment options, a shift local coverage says has helped keep foot traffic strong and vacancy low. That environment makes the mall an appealing landing spot for national chains. Coverage of recent additions like Netflix House and industry reporting such as Bisnow highlight how new draws, including a planned DICK’S House of Sport, have reshaped leasing strategy at the complex.
No official opening date has been published; shoppers eyeing the new Faherty location will have to keep an eye on the mall’s directory and the brand’s site for updates.
