Dante Buckley is not waiting for his big Market Street project to open before turning up the heat. He is rolling out a flashy sneak peek of his Dante's Inferno nightlife concept with a Fourth of July yacht party, "Voyage to Paradiso," aboard the San Francisco Belle. The cruise is pitched as a transportive sample of the future rooftop Paradiso, complete with live music, Caribbean food and front-row waterfront views of the fireworks.
Voyage to Paradiso, billed as "The Divine Light Party," runs from 5 PM to 11 PM on July 4 on the San Francisco Belle, with tickets starting at $100 and available by advance purchase only. The lineup features R&B singer SiR, genre-bending veterans BadBadNotGood and singer Odeal. Organizers say a portion of the proceeds will benefit Oakland nonprofit the Hidden Genius Project, and the night comes with a strict all-white dress code, according to the SF Chronicle.
What to Expect Aboard the Belle
Buckley says Voyage to Paradiso will lean heavily into Afrobeats, with Caribbean food and cocktails that nod to his Jamaican roots. The idea is to give guests an early sense of the Paradiso rooftop vibe before the bar opens. Early reports and renderings describe Paradiso as a rum-driven, island-forward rooftop lounge centered on live music and warm-weather hospitality, per Eater SF.
A Preview Of Dante's Inferno
The full Dante's Inferno complex is slated for 1815 to 1819 Market Street in downtown San Francisco, with the venue scheduled to open next year in 2027. Renderings and early descriptions frame the project as a multilevel supper club, with an intimate ground-floor performance room dubbed the "Inferno" and a Caribbean-leaning rooftop "Paradiso" bar set up for ticketed shows and late-night gatherings, according to the SF Chronicle.
Neighbors And The Noise Question
The Market Street plans have already drawn attention at public planning hearings, where nearby residents raised concerns about late-night rooftop noise. At a San Francisco Planning Commission meeting, the developer fielded questions on operations while commissioners pushed for mitigation measures, including reduced weekday hours and occasional silent disco options, according to the San Francisco Planning Commission transcript.
Charity And Community Tie-In
Organizers say a portion of Voyage to Paradiso ticket sales will support the Hidden Genius Project, an Oakland nonprofit that trains and mentors Black young men in technology, entrepreneurship and leadership. The organization runs intensive immersion programs and broader community partnerships, as outlined on the Hidden Genius Project website.
Voyage to Paradiso marks Buckley’s second public pop-up ahead of Dante's Inferno’s full debut. His earlier "Don't Look Down" warm-up party at 111 Minna during Super Bowl week featured performers including Anderson .Paak. For now, the Belle cruise offers San Franciscans an early taste of the music-and-food energy Dante's Inferno aims to bring downtown once its doors finally open, as reported by SF Station.
