A quiet Thursday afternoon in Northwest Baltimore was shattered when a 68-year-old woman was shot in broad daylight in Howard Park, rattling neighbors along the busy Liberty Heights corridor.
Police say officers were called around 1:43 p.m. to the 4700 block of Liberty Heights Avenue, where they found the woman suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. She was taken to a nearby hospital and is listed in stable condition.
