Fullerton corridor context
This is not the first shooting along the Fullerton corridor this year. In March, a man was shot in the neck inside a moving car on the 1600 block of West Fullerton. Those incidents have fed residents' calls for more cameras and more coordinated prevention efforts between police and community groups.
Police have not immediately released a suspect description as investigators continued processing the scene, the Sun‑Times reported. Anyone with information is asked to call Area Three detectives or dial 911 in an emergency.
