
A late-morning robbery turned violent Friday near 34th Street and National Avenue, leaving a 38-year-old man shot and neighbors on edge. Milwaukee police said the victim was taken to a hospital with non life threatening injuries, and as of Friday they had not announced any arrests.
According to FOX6 News Milwaukee, the shooting happened around 10:30 a.m. and "stemmed from a robbery." The outlet reported that the wounded man was transported to a hospital and that police are asking anyone with information to call 414-935-7360, contact Crime Stoppers at 414-224-TIPS, or send tips through the P3 Tips app.
