A late-morning robbery turned violent Friday near 34th Street and National Avenue, leaving a 38-year-old man shot and neighbors on edge. Milwaukee police said the victim was taken to a hospital with non life threatening injuries, and as of Friday they had not announced any arrests.
According to FOX6 News Milwaukee, the shooting happened around 10:30 a.m. and "stemmed from a robbery."
