Seaviche Tacos & Bowls, the Detroit-born fast-casual spot that started out tucked inside a downtown deli, is rolling into Roseville. The growing chain has signed a lease at 32500 Gratiot Avenue, marking its third location after Detroit and White Lake. Owner Eizen Shina says there is no opening date yet, but the move puts Seaviche on the east side of Gratiot near 14 Mile Road.
The Roseville deal came together through a brokerage-handled transaction, according to What Now Detroit. The property at 32500 Gratiot Avenue is also listed on LoopNet, which shows a multi-tenant retail setup in the Macomb Mall corridor.
From deli counter to quick-serve chain
The original Detroit location is listed at 3242 East Jefferson on the restaurant's online ordering page, per Toast, and the brand also operates a White Lake outpost. Seaviche's menu leans hard into shrimp, chicken, carne asada, and steak tacos, plus build-your-own burritos, bowls, and quesadillas, according to Seaviche. The chain also lists half- and full-size catering trays for groups, a setup that signals a focus on both counter service and events.
What Roseville diners should expect
Owner Eizen Shina told What Now Detroit that "there is not an opening date right now." The outlet also noted that the second location opened in White Lake in December 2024.
The new Roseville restaurant will sit on the east side of Gratiot near 14 Mile Road and share a parking lot with Everything Spik'd, Double Shots Bar & Grill, and Tailor Made Lounge, across from Macomb Mall. When doors do open, diners can expect the same build-your-own, quick-serve format and catering options that helped Seaviche grow out of its deli-counter beginnings.
