
An early-morning crash on the Sprain Brook Parkway in Yonkers left one person dead on Sunday, according to New York State Police. The single-car wreck happened a little after 2:45 a.m. in the southbound lanes between Jackson Avenue and Tuckahoe Road.
State police told News 12 Westchester the crash occurred at about 2:47 a.m. on May 17 and that the victim's name has not been released. Troopers said the cause has not yet been determined, the investigation remains active, and officials have not provided additional details about what led to the wreck.
