Owner Jason Cowan told Axios the new shop is aiming for a late-summer opening at 2905 Monroe Road, tucked between Tipsy Burro and Smokey Joe's Cafe. According to the outlet, Burr & Berry has built a loyal following with its walk-up and drive-thru setup and a steady run of viral TikTok clips.

Public zoning and permitting records for parcel 15901103 list an application labeled "B&B Coffee Store #4" and identify "BURR AND BERRY LAND HOLDINGS 1" as the owner, signaling that the project is working its way through local review. The application seeks reductions to landscape yards, front setbacks and a requirement for a secondary ground-floor entrance, according to City of Charlotte records.

The chain currently lists locations at 4209 South Boulevard in LoSo, 9605 Monroe Road near Matthews and 1221 Transformation Lane in Indian Land, S.C., on Burr & Berry. Co-owner Jason Cowan has said the owners moved to the Charlotte area to build out the compact, quick-service concept, leaning on local partnerships and small standalone buildings as part of the strategy, the Charlotte Observer reported.
