A quiet Friday morning in Philadelphia’s East Oak Lane neighborhood turned tragic when a woman was fatally struck by a van as she walked near North 5th Street and Chelten Avenue. The collision happened around 6:55 a.m., and she was rushed to Einstein Medical Center, where she died roughly an hour later. Authorities have not released her name as the investigation continues.
