Flower Child is digging into the West Valley in a big way, rolling out three new locations in Peoria, Goodyear and Surprise. The fast-casual chain, known for its bright grain bowls, salads and health-focused plates, is set to push its takeout and dine-in model deeper into Phoenix’s growing suburbs as the area’s retail boom keeps pulling in new restaurants and grocers.
Where They Are Opening
The company has confirmed plans for a Peoria restaurant at The Trailhead, a site in Goodyear’s GSQ development and a spot at Surprise’s Village at Prasada, according to KTAR. The trio is part of a broader West Valley push aimed at meeting demand for quick-service food that leans more veggie-forward than drive-thru. Company representatives say each restaurant will offer a mix of dine-in seating and to-go service.
Menu, Hours and Ordering
Flower Child typically operates daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and leans heavily into vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free items, according to Flower Child's menu. Signature dishes include the Mother Earth bowl, gluten-free mac & cheese, chicken enchiladas and sides such as Brussels sprouts and an organic kale salad, all of which can be customized with protein add-ons.
Retail Momentum Behind the Openings
The new restaurants are riding a broader wave of grocery-anchored and lifestyle retail projects across the West Valley. Prasada East in Surprise, part of SimonCRE’s development pipeline, lists Whole Foods and Flower Child as prospective tenants, per ICSC. City planning newsletters also show permit activity for a Flower Child at the site, as outlined by the City of Surprise, underscoring how the restaurant is being folded into a larger live, shop and dine hub.
Timing and Hiring
On the staffing front, job postings tied to the Peoria location show the company recruiting management and flag a “New Location Opening Fall 2026,” according to a job board posting. The rollout will not be a one-and-done opening weekend. KTAR reports the Surprise restaurant is expected to arrive in late 2027, while Flower Child has not yet made the Goodyear timeline public.
For West Valley diners, the buildouts translate into more full-service, health-minded options and a modest bump in local jobs as each project comes to life. We will keep an eye on city permits and developer schedules for firm opening dates and site-specific menus as the trio of locations moves from planning boards to lunch rotation.
