Celina’s dessert game is about to get a serious upgrade. Jeremiah’s Italian Ice is heading for the new Preston Pointe retail district, where the frozen-treat chain is slated to take a roughly 1,200-square-foot storefront along the busy S. Preston Road corridor. The company has not announced a firm opening date yet, but the move adds another sweet stop to one of Celina’s fastest-growing stretches of retail.
The chain’s official location page confirms the site at 1225 S. Preston Rd, listing the Celina address along with posted hours and a prompt to download the brand’s rewards app, according to Jeremiah’s Italian Ice. The online profile appears to be getting set up ahead of any formal grand-opening fanfare.
What’s Coming To Preston Pointe
Reporting from Community Impact puts the new Jeremiah’s Italian Ice at about 1,200 square feet inside the Preston Pointe development. Leasing documents from Matthews position the project on S. Preston Road near S. Oklahoma Drive, tying it directly into Celina’s expanding commercial spine.
Property listings on LoopNet show center renderings and active leasing information for Preston Pointe, which developers are marketing as a key piece of Celina’s growing retail footprint.
What Jeremiah’s Brings
Jeremiah’s leans into a family-friendly, frozen dessert format built around Italian ice, soft serve, and its signature “Jelati” combos. The company recently celebrated its 150th location in a national expansion update, highlighting a model that typically lands in suburban strip centers and leans on rotating daily flavors, Jelati cakes, and catering to keep traffic flowing.
As of yesterday, neither Jeremiah’s nor the Preston Pointe developer had put a specific opening date on the Celina shop, and Community Impact still lists the debut as “TBD.” For now, the tenant listing and active leasing push suggest Preston Pointe will keep pulling in new retailers as Celina’s S. Preston Road retail corridor fills out through the rest of the year.
