Grandview just picked up a high-octane new hangout. Outlaw Motor Speedway, a racing-simulator bar that opened this week on Grandview Avenue, pairs cockpit-style racing rigs with cocktails and food, promising group races, leagues and private events for both die-hard fans and casual players.
The spot officially dropped the green flag at its grand opening last Wednesday at 3 p.m. at 1291 Grandview Ave. Billed as a "high-energy racing experience," the Outlaw Simulator Bar is set to feature 16 racing simulators and lets patrons choose from more than 150 cars and nearly 140 tracks. The concept was launched under EPIC Brands, with sister concept Agave & Rye providing its food menu to guests, according to 614NOW.
Inside the simulators
Job listings show Outlaw is hiring a "Simulator Crew" and a "Simulator Bartender," suggesting the bar plans to have tech-savvy staff running the sessions and managing guests. Those listings appear on employment pages tied to Agave & Rye and the sim bar concept on Glassdoor.
How it fits Columbus' scene
The Grandview venue lands as Columbus' second dedicated racing-simulator bar. Racing Line, which opened downtown in early 2025, was the city's first sim-racing center and bar. Racing Line offers leagues, corporate events and drop-in sessions, a model the new Grandview spot appears ready to follow, per Racing Line.
Who’s behind the project
Outlaw is being opened under the EPIC Brands umbrella that operates Agave & Rye, and Agave & Rye's site lists a Grandview location on Grandview Avenue. EPIC Brands is led by founder Yavonne Sarber, who has grown the Agave & Rye concept across the region, according to coverage in FSR Magazine.

Booking and what to know
Racing-sim centers in Columbus typically suggest booking ahead for busy nights while still allowing walk-ins. Racing Line's site notes that walk-ins are welcome but reservations are recommended, which hints that Outlaw may settle into a similar pattern. If you plan to race with a group, check the venue's or Agave & Rye's pages for session times and party packages as the new spot locks in its schedule.
