Gunfire shattered a Saturday evening at a Bronx playground, and now police are looking for two men they say took off in a dark-colored sedan after the shots rang out.
The incident unfolded inside Bathgate Playground in East Tremont, where witnesses told officers people ran from the area as one of the men fired multiple rounds toward a group, according to police. Both men then fled together in the sedan, investigators said.
According to News 12 New York, the shooting happened at about 5:05 p.m. on Saturday. No injuries were reported. Police say one suspect was last seen wearing a red sweater, the other a light-blue sweater, and the car was last spotted heading north on Bathgate Avenue.
