
Gunshots shattered the quiet on a Dallas residential street today when unknown gunmen opened fire on a car near Skyline High School, sending one person to the hospital and kicking off a manhunt in the Buckner Terrace neighborhood, police said.
Officers were called to the 4600 block of Wimbelton Way, where they found multiple people in a vehicle that had been shot at, including a juvenile, according to WFAA. An adult passenger was taken to a hospital and was reported to be in stable condition. Police said the suspects were still on the loose as investigators worked the scene, and no descriptions or arrest details have been released.

Detectives said they were canvassing the area and running down leads in the case. According to the Dallas Police Department, residents can submit tips through the agency’s online portal or provide anonymous information through the Crime Stoppers hotline.

The shooting unfolded near Skyline High School, which lists its campus at 7777 Forney Road on the school’s website.
