A woman was found shot multiple times inside a McDonald’s in North Philadelphia late Sunday morning and was rushed to a hospital, according to police. The gunfire erupted around 11:40 a.m. at the restaurant near 21st Street and West Lehigh Avenue. Officers recovered at least one shell casing outside but concentrated their investigation inside the building. No arrests had been announced as of the initial report.

According to 6ABC, responding officers arrived to find the woman inside the McDonald’s and took her to a nearby hospital. Investigators located a shell casing outside by a vehicle, but the bulk of the evidence search centered inside the restaurant, the station reported.
