Henderson just landed a heavyweight in the construction world, as Penta Building Group has moved into a newly purchased and remodeled 55,000-square-foot headquarters that pulls together staff from across the valley.

The company has consolidated roughly 100 employees who had been scattered across five separate locations into the new office, which comes tricked out with a gym and other on-site amenities. As part of the move, staff were invited to personalize their offices, a small but telling perk in a tight labor market.

John Cannito, president and CEO of Penta Building Group, said the relocation is a direct response to rapid growth and a need to centralize operations. He told FOX5 that the firm employs about 550 people in Southern Nevada and supports roughly 900 to 1,000 across the Southwest. According to Cannito, Penta handles about $2.3 billion of work a year and is hiring 10 to 15 people a month, with about 70% of the new-office staff already calling Henderson home.

The company lists its Las Vegas office at 2290 Corporate Circle, Suite 100 in Henderson, according to PENTA. The headquarters move brings more of Penta's administrative and support staff closer to the valley projects the firm manages locally.

Local projects and hiring

Penta's Southern Nevada portfolio is already deeply woven into the region, with work on the Henderson Police Station, the Denver Marsh Center for Excellence and the M Resort Tower. The firm takes on hospitality, gaming, healthcare and school district projects, keeping it busy across multiple sectors.

Cannito told FOX5 that Southern Nevada's construction market feels more stable than in previous years, a key factor behind the decision to invest in a permanent, centralized headquarters. Penta bought the building and remodeled the interior before moving staff in, signaling a long-term bet on the region.

What it means for Henderson

Pulling about 100 office workers into one Henderson address is expected to mean more daytime traffic for nearby restaurants and services, as well as a stronger local hiring pipeline. With the majority of the new-office staff already living in Henderson, company leaders frame the move as a play for culture and efficiency, not just growth on the balance sheet.
