Caffeine and ice cream fans in Sarasota have something new on the horizon. JavaCone, a cafe promising premium coffee and ice cream, is headed to the Palmer Crossing shopping center in Sarasota. The shop is slated to take the 5537 Palmer Crossing Circle suite near Clark Road and Honore Avenue and says it will serve artisan espresso, handcrafted breakfast and lunch, plus premium desserts and ice cream.
According to What Now, JavaCone's website proclaims "Coming Soon to Sarasota!" and outlines a menu built around artisan coffee and decadent frozen treats. The outlet notes the brand says it moved "from Alabama to Florida’s Gulf Coast," and that it reached out to owner Stephen Vrondran, who was not immediately available for comment.
Palmer Crossing is a busy retail hub
Palmer Crossing sits at the southeast quadrant of Clark Road and Honore Avenue and is anchored by a Walmart Neighborhood Market, making it a high-traffic spot for quick-service eateries. Lerner Real Estate Advisors describes the center as a 36-acre community shopping destination that hosts national chains and regional restaurants, including a Chick-fil-A among its food tenants. JavaCone's addition will expand daytime dining options for residents of Palmer Ranch and nearby neighborhoods.
When it might open
There is no firm opening date yet. JavaCone's online notice and the What Now report both stick with a "coming soon" message, and the outlet says the owner did not provide a timeline.
