Barakah Beans, the woman-owned coffee brand that rolled onto the scene as a cart in March 2025, is getting a permanent home in Kissimmee this summer. Owner Shams Khazil is taking the concept from mobile to brick and mortar, planning to serve the cart's specialty drinks alongside traditional Middle Eastern coffees and teas. She is targeting a June or July opening as the new space moves through design and permitting.
Where It Will Be
Submitted plan-review documents place the cafe at 3262 Vineland Road in Kissimmee, according to What Now. The report notes that the space is still in the design phase, and Khazil told the outlet she is aiming for a June or July opening. The plan-review listing is the first public confirmation that the mobile operation is headed for a permanent storefront.
From Cart To Counter
State business filings show Barakah Beans LLC was registered with the Florida Department of State, Division of Corporations, on Feb. 14, 2025. The brand built its early following through pop-ups and a mobile cart, where local coverage spotlighted signature items like a pistachio latte and Adeni chai, as noted by Tasty Chomps. While the Vineland Road space takes shape, the company is continuing to serve events and pop-ups.
Menu And The Vibe
Khazil told reporters the cafe will blend the cart's sweeter, modern specialty lattes with more traditional Middle Eastern coffee and tea preparations. "The vibe we’re going for is—I want people to feel like they’re at home," she said in an interview with What Now. The plan is for a small, cozy layout that leans into hospitality rather than a high-volume espresso bar feel.
How Barakah Fits Into Orlando
Barakah's transition to a cafe comes as Orlando's coffee scene continues to branch out with more heritage-focused concepts. Orlando Weekly recently noted Barakah alongside other Arab and Middle Eastern-inspired coffee spots, signaling local interest in niche coffee experiences. That backdrop suggests Khazil is opening into a market already curious about both traditional preparations and inventive flavor combinations.
What’s Next
Khazil is continuing design and permitting work on the Vineland Road space and says she will share progress on the brand's social channels. Customers can follow updates at @barakahbeans or check the business site for contact details. The full menu, hours, and a firm opening date are expected to be announced once permitting is finalized.
