An argument between two groups in the parking lot of a north Harris County apartment complex turned into a late-night shootout Wednesday, leaving a woman injured and sending several people fleeing, authorities said.
Deputies were called just after 11 p.m. to the complex's parking lot near Fulton Street and Collingsworth Street. The woman was taken to a hospital and is expected to be OK.
Investigators say the people involved got into several vehicles and sped away before officers arrived. No arrests have been made and authorities have not released descriptions of the suspects or the vehicles involved, according to KPRC Click2Houston.

A Pattern In North Harris County
This episode is the latest in a string of apartment-complex shootings in the area. In April, deputies said one woman was killed and another injured in a separate north Harris County apartment shooting, as reported by ABC13. Local reporting has documented multiple similar incidents in recent months, including earlier coverage of a north Harris County brawl that ended in gunfire, raising ongoing safety concerns for residents.
Harris County investigators continue to process the scene and said the investigation is ongoing. This story will be updated as officials release more information.
