A late-night crash on Milwaukee’s northwest side left an 18-year-old driver dead Thursday after a vehicle struck a tree near 84th Street and Hampton Avenue. Emergency crews rushed the driver to a hospital, but life-saving efforts were not successful. Milwaukee police shut down the area while investigators worked to sort out the details.
What We Know
According to CBS 58, the collision happened around 9:40 p.m. as the driver was heading southbound on 84th Street. The teen was alone in the vehicle and was later pronounced dead at the hospital. The Milwaukee Police Department reports that the investigation remains ongoing and is asking anyone with information to contact MPD at (414) 935-7360.
