Business First, the project wrapped this spring and is being pitched as part of the broader LAX corridor push to upgrade accommodations ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup and the 2028 Olympic Games. The outlet notes that the investment is meant to keep the airport-adjacent Hilton competitive with other nearby properties that have been redoing rooms and meeting space with 2026 and beyond in mind.

Inside the rooms, guests now find rebuilt bathrooms along with new mattresses and linens, plus mini-refrigerators standard across the board, upgraded thermostats and USB-C charging ports, Hotel Business reports. The design leans into modern minimalism with subtle mid-century notes, and every two-bed layout was converted to two queens to boost group capacity.
