What Authorities Say Happened
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol records, the crash was reported shortly after 8:30 p.m. Friday and involved three vehicles. A preliminary account from the patrol says a first vehicle sideswiped a second, pushing that second vehicle into oncoming lanes. Victims And Emergency Response
First Alert 4 reports that the victims were a 53-year-old woman driving the second vehicle, an 18-year-old passenger in that car, and a 28-year-old woman driving the third vehicle. Christian Hospital EMS personnel pronounced all three dead at the scene. Officials have not released the names of the victims, and authorities say the investigation is still active.
