Dirt-bike riding remains a concern
Illegal dirt-bike riding has been a long-running safety flashpoint in Baltimore, with police task forces and tip lines created to respond to packs of riders weaving through city streets, CBS Baltimore reported in 2017. Neighbors and officials have complained about noise and dangerous stunts, while some riders and advocates counter that the city should offer designated, off-street spaces where the bikes can be ridden legally.
Police have not released any additional information about the rider or whether citations or charges could follow in this latest case. Local crews from FOX45 and WMAR2 were on the scene, and this story will be updated as officials make more details public.
