A Miami-Dade inmate is now facing kidnapping and sexual battery charges tied to what authorities describe as a brutal attack on a 15-year-old girl last summer. Prosecutors say 29-year-old Antwon Trinard Glenn forced the teenager into a vehicle, then assaulted her at a nearby apartment. Glenn remains in county custody without bond at Metro West Detention Center in Doral.

According to an arrest report obtained by Local 10, the girl was outside her grandmother’s home in the 11000 block of Southwest 203rd Terrace on July 5, 2025, when Glenn, who was driving a white SUV, allegedly grabbed her arm and forced her into the vehicle. The victim told investigators she was raped inside the SUV and then taken to a nearby apartment, where the assault allegedly continued.

The report states Glenn had already been locked up since Jan. 22 on unrelated fraud-related counts. Detectives interviewed him at Metro West on March 26, at which point he invoked his right to counsel, according to the arrest report cited by Local 10.

Where He Is Being Held

County records list Metro West Detention Center as Miami-Dade’s primary pretrial facility, located at 13850 NW 41st Street in Doral. The complex holds thousands of detainees and is where the county houses many people arrested on felony charges, according to Miami-Dade County.

What The Law Says

Under Florida law, kidnapping and sexual battery rank among the state’s most serious felony offenses and can draw decades in prison or, in some situations, a life sentence. The Florida Statutes define kidnapping as the forcible confinement, abduction, or imprisonment of another person and spell out enhanced penalties when sexual offenses involve minors, according to the Florida Statutes and state law-enforcement guidance.

The case will be prosecuted locally while detectives continue their investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS (8477) or the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office non-emergency line, according to the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office.
