Manoli, a new Greek restaurant from Michelin-trained chef Emmanouil “Manoli” Aslanoglou, is slated to debut in early summer at 3540 Main Hwy in Coconut Grove. The 140-seat restaurant will move into the former Sereia space on the southern stretch of Main Highway, with a focus on bringing family-style Greek dining to the neighborhood.
Chef's pedigree and vision
Aslanoglou cut his teeth in some of Europe's most acclaimed kitchens, including Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons and Arzak, and has helmed restaurants in Greece along with stints at Nammos in Southampton. He has also appeared on MasterChef Greece and says Manoli will spotlight the family-style dishes he grew up eating, according to Miami New Times.
What to expect from the menu
The menu is designed for sharing, with classics like dolmades and saganaki, plus gyro tacos made with Black Angus ribeye. A raw bar will offer bigeye tuna tartare, beef tartare, and seasonal oysters. Housemade pastas such as pastitsio and makarounes will sit alongside grill plates that include Greek-style lamb chops, prime beef, and whole branzino, and desserts will roll through the room on a tableside dessert trolley. The cocktail program, called "Sober Souls Diaries," was created by Fotis Mexi and leans into Greek flavors and narrative-driven drinks, as detailed by Hospitality News.
Where it will sit in the Grove
Manoli will join a growing cluster of restaurants that already includes the Taurus and Michelin-starred Ariete, adding another chef-driven option to the southern end of Main Highway. The address at 3540 Main Hwy most recently housed Sereia, which closed in May 2025 after roughly 14 months in business, per Miami New Times.
Manoli is targeting an early summer 2026 opening, according to press materials, and is sharing updates on Instagram at @manoligreek. For Coconut Grove diners, the project reflects a recent wave of higher-end arrivals in the neighborhood and signals that Main Highway remains a prime focus for restaurateurs, per The Miami Guide.
