Midafternoon gunfire rattled part of San Antonio's Northeast Side on Thursday, with police now searching for a suspect after at least one man was shot near O'Connor Road.
Officers were called around 2:40 p.m. to the area of Misty Run Drive and O'Connor Road, where first responders found a male victim, according to early details from police. Authorities have not released much about his condition and say the investigation is still very much in motion.
According to News 4 San Antonio, officers were dispatched to reports of a shooting in progress shortly before 3 p.m. They later confirmed at least one male had been shot near the corner of Misty Run Drive and O'Connor Road, and described the situation as a developing scene while investigators combed the area for evidence.
