The attacker approached during a dispute on the platform, pulled a knife, stabbed the victim and then took off from the station, according to investigators. Authorities later released surveillance images and asked the public to help identify the suspect.

The alert includes photos of the suspect and urges anyone with information to call 1-800-577-TIPS, send a direct message to @NYPDTips, or submit a tip online through the Crime Stoppers portal. The post also shares a Spanish-language hotline and notes that tips leading to an arrest may qualify for a cash reward.
