Federal authorities say a 27-year-old woman accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting a child is lying low somewhere in Milwaukee County, and they want her found sooner rather than later.
U.S. Marshals are looking for Erin Conley, who investigators say sexually assaulted a child multiple times and threatened the victim’s life. Conley was charged in May 2025 but never arrested and is believed to still be in the area. She is described as about 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing roughly 220 pounds.
According to FOX6 News Milwaukee, the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force has issued an alert and is asking the public to help track Conley down. FOX6 reports the child only came forward after prolonged anxiety and fear finally pushed her to tell authorities what had happened.
What investigators say
U.S. Marshals told FOX6 News Milwaukee that Conley allegedly forced herself onto the child and warned the victim not to say anything about the abuse. Since the charges were filed, investigators say they have received and checked out possible sightings of Conley around Milwaukee County.
“It’s very important that Erin gets found and taken off the street,” one marshal said, as reported by FOX6 News Milwaukee.
How to report tips
Anyone with information on Conley’s whereabouts is urged to call the U.S. Marshals tip line at 414-297-3707 or submit a report through the U.S. Marshals Service website and the USMS Tips app. The U.S. Marshals Service also lists a national email and hotline for tips. Officials stress that 911 should be used for emergencies.
Legal status
Conley was charged in May 2025 with repeated sexual assault of a minor, and those counts remain pending in Milwaukee County. If she is located, authorities say she will be taken into custody to face prosecution, and the U.S. Marshals will work with local prosecutors on the next legal steps.
