Public plan-review filings show an applicant called Lakeland Donuts LLC targeting a compact retail space at 2810 S Florida Avenue, just south of the Market at Southgate. For now, the paperwork is about all anyone has to chew on. Details about the shop’s concept, menu or grand-opening date have not yet been made public.
According to What Now, the plan-review documents for the address were submitted this spring and indicate the business will operate under the name Lakeland Donuts. The outlet notes that owner Sophal Cheng declined to comment when contacted about the project.
