Bradenton police are trying to piece together what happened after a teenager was found dead outside a home Monday night in the 700 block of 12th Avenue West. Officers responded to a 911 call around 10:15 p.m., where they found the youth outside the residence. Investigators say they are not releasing the juvenile's age or gender while detectives continue to work the case, which they describe as an active investigation.
According to FOX 13, officers discovered the teen after the late-night emergency call and are treating the death as an isolated incident while the scene is processed.

10 Tampa Bay reports that the Manatee County Homicide Investigation Unit is assisting Bradenton police as they work to determine the cause of death. So far, authorities have shared very few specifics about how the teenager died and have not said whether they suspect foul play.
