Officers rushed to 388 2nd St. just before 8 p.m., and medics pronounced the woman dead at the scene, prompting a full-scale homicide investigation and leaving neighbors rattled.

According to police, officers were called to the 388 2nd Street address shortly before 8 p.m., where they discovered the woman suffering from multiple stab wounds. She was pronounced dead at the location. There have been no arrests, and the woman’s identity has not yet been released, as reported by News 12 New York. Detectives are canvassing the area, going door to door and searching for any witnesses or surveillance video that might help piece together what happened.
