Columbus police have launched a homicide investigation after a man was found dead late Tuesday on the city’s northeast side, near the Brocton Court area. Officers responding to a call for service discovered the victim, and medics later pronounced him dead at the scene as detectives began working the case.
According to 10TV, officers were first sent to the Delevan Drive and Brentnell Avenue area around 9:50 p.m. From there, they were directed to the 2400 block of Brocton Court, where they found 39-year-old Xavier Reynolds. He was pronounced dead at 10:07 p.m., the station reports.
