A 37-year-old man is in the hospital after gunfire broke out early Thursday on the 6200 block of Eastern Avenue in Southeast Baltimore. Patrol officers found the man at the scene with a gunshot wound and had him taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Officers were dispatched around 2:08 a.m. for a reported shooting and found the 37-year-old suffering from a gunshot wound, according to FOX45. The victim was then transported to a local hospital for treatment, the station reports.
