Five people were hurt, including one person in critical condition, after a crash in San Pedro on Saturday evening, officials said.
The collision was reported around 7:28 p.m. in the 700 block of North Pacific Avenue near Summerland Avenue, according to emergency responders at the scene. Fire and rescue crews transported all five injured people to nearby hospitals while the street was partially shut down so first responders and investigators could work.
As reported by MyNewsLA, Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Jennifer Middleton confirmed the time and location of the crash and said that one person was listed in critical condition, with four others hospitalized. Officials did not immediately release updates on the conditions of the remaining patients, and the cause of the crash was not yet known.
