
A pedestrian is in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle in east Charlotte on last evening, according to emergency crews. MEDIC responded to the scene and took the injured person to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. The crash was reported shortly before 7:30 p.m., and first responders shut down the intersection while they worked to clear the area.
As reported by Queen City News, the collision happened at the intersection of Campbell Drive and North Sharon Amity. Officials said crews found the pedestrian suffering from life-threatening injuries, and police had not yet released information on what led to the crash or whether any charges might follow.
