Manjul, the SoHo coffee shop that also serves as a high-end clothing label, is gearing up to plant its flag in Columbus with a new outpost in Weinland Park. The brand is set to take over a ground-floor retail space in the new 4th & 5th apartments, and buildout photos show the café is already under construction. There is still no official opening date on the books.
Manjul currently lists a Columbus location as “coming soon” on its website. The 4th & 5th project is pitched as a mixed-use community with street-level retail, and, as outlined by Thrive Companies, the building combines roughly hundreds of apartments with restaurant and retail space intended for neighborhood use.
From SoHo To Columbus
According to Columbus Underground, Manjul, founded by Ihor and Anastasiia Manzhul, opened its first SoHo location in early 2025 and announced its Columbus plans on Instagram in February. The outlet describes the concept as a hybrid café and boutique that matches a precise coffee program with a tightly curated clothing selection.
Coffee, Clothes And Kolo Beans
Manjul’s online shop lists single-origin beans and coffee gear, including the Aiden Precision Coffee Maker and the V60 Dripper Neo, right alongside jackets and jumpsuits. The Manjul site sells many of the same items stocked in the physical shop. Specialty coverage from Coffee Klatsch has also noted that the SoHo location uses beans from Berlin micro-roaster Kolo, a sourcing choice that helps distinguish the café’s menu.
What It Means For Weinland Park
The 4th & 5th development includes roughly 311 apartments and dedicated street-level retail, positioning the project as a walkable hub for students, nearby residents and visitors. Thrive Companies markets the site as a mixed-use block adjacent to the Short North and Italian Village, which makes a boutique café that also sells goods a tidy fit with the neighborhood’s evolving retail mix.
As Columbus Underground notes, the brand has already shared progress footage from the Columbus buildout on its Instagram account but has not yet announced an official opening date. We will be watching Manjul’s social channels for word on when the coffee-and-fashion combo officially opens its doors in Weinland Park.
