Police response and barricade
Dallas police say officers were called to a reported shooting on Emhouse Street near Interstate 35E just before 3 a.m. Using ballistic shields, officers approached the outside of a home and found two men with gunshot wounds, who were pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspected gunman barricaded himself inside a nearby residence, prompting a SWAT deployment and multiple street closures while negotiators worked to secure the area, according to FOX 4. Officials have not said whether they are looking for any additional suspects.
