Summerfest’s American Family Insurance House is thinking small in all the right ways. Organizers rolled out the 2026 schedule on Wednesday, revealing a run of intimate, free sets that will play in the shadow of the festival’s amphitheater giants. Across three weekends, June 18–20, June 25–27 and July 2–4, the cozy stage will host a roster that includes Passion Pit, Spoon, Soul Asylum, Grouplove and the Spin Doctors. Festival operator Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. also used the announcement to confirm a renewed multi-year partnership with American Family Insurance, keeping the company attached to both the amphitheater and on-grounds programming.
American Family Insurance House lineup
The 2026 house schedule mixes national names with emerging and local acts, kicking off June 18 with Dora Jar at 2:00 p.m. followed by Passion Pit at 4:00 p.m. The momentum keeps going June 19 with State Champs and Cameron Whitcomb, with Whitcomb slotted for 6:00 p.m. Grouplove is set for June 26, Spoon for July 3 and Soul Asylum for July 4. Full daily set times and the complete artist list were released by Milwaukee World Festival and reported by FOX6 Milwaukee. Fans can use the lineup to map out afternoon stops at the house, then roll into larger amphitheater shows later that night.
What the House offers
The American Family Insurance House sits just inside Summerfest’s Mid Gate and serves as the festival’s most intimate performance space, typically holding only a few hundred fans for up-close, mostly acoustic-style sets. According to American Family Insurance, the experience also includes a rooftop and backyard lounge, free customizable swag stations, daytime programming that generally runs from about noon to 8 p.m., first-come, first-served entry and special meet-and-greet opportunities for those who line up early.
Partnership renewal
Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. has extended its multi-year partnership with American Family Insurance, keeping the insurer’s naming rights to the American Family Insurance Amphitheater intact and maintaining its role as Summerfest’s presenting sponsor, according to the announcement. “We’re proud to continue our partnership with American Family Insurance and grateful for their support in expanding access to music and strengthening community connections,” Milwaukee World Festival President and CEO Sarah Pancheri said, as reported by FOX6 Milwaukee.
What fans should know
Tickets work a little differently depending on where you plan to end up. JamBase notes that a ticket to a show at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater comes with same-day admission to the Summerfest grounds, while general Summerfest passes do not get you into amphitheater concerts. For full daily schedules, ticket details and the complete amphitheater lineup, including headliners such as Garth Brooks, Ed Sheeran and Post Malone, check the festival announcement posted by Urban Milwaukee.
