Georgetown’s iced tea game just got a little stronger. HTeaO has rolled out a second local outpost, opening a drive-thru and walk-in shop at 1015 Westinghouse Boulevard late last week. The new franchise, locally owned and operated by Marco Mussi, marked its arrival with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 30 and brings the chain’s staple lineup of freshly brewed iced teas, coffee and grab-and-go snacks to the Westinghouse and Rabbit Hill neighborhoods.
What's On The Menu
HTeaO builds its menu around more than 20 freshly brewed sweet and unsweet tea flavors, including Sweet Georgia Peach, mango, coconut and mint, with customers free to mix and match for custom blends. The Westinghouse location also offers coffee service, indoor seating and a drive-thru, according to its online store page. HTeaO notes that the brand uses premium filtered water and non-GMO ingredients for its daily brews.
Opening Day And Owner Remarks
The Westinghouse shop celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting alongside the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce on April 30, per Community Impact. In a corporate announcement carried by Franchising.com, HTeaO and franchisee Marco Mussi described a May 2 public opening and said they were excited to add a neighborhood beverage stop to Georgetown. Mussi said the city’s strong community feel drew him to the site and that he hopes the shop becomes a regular stop for nearby residents and commuters.
How This Fits In Town
This is HTeaO’s second storefront in Georgetown, joining the original location near 3020 Williams Drive. Both shops advertise drive-thru service and similar operating hours, giving commuters and families more options for quick drinks throughout the day, according to HTeaO. The new Westinghouse site sits near growing residential corridors, signaling that the brand sees continued demand for quick-service beverage spots in northern Georgetown.
What Locals Should Know
Community Impact lists the new shop's address as 1015 Westinghouse Road and notes that Georgetown Chamber officials joined staff for the ribbon-cutting. For menus, hours and details on options like gallons for sharing, HTeaO’s online menu and store pages carry the most current information.
