Investigators have identified the suspects as Anthony Battle and Laqwone Bennett, who are wanted on aggravated-assault, firearms and related charges. Officers say the pair should be considered armed and dangerous and are warning residents to steer clear and call police instead.

According to NBC10 Philadelphia, the weekend robbery led detectives to release images of the suspects along with their names. The station reports that Battle and Bennett face aggravated-assault counts, firearms violations and other criminal charges, and that police are describing them publicly as "armed and dangerous." Robberies Make Up A Small But Persistent Share Of Calls
The case lands in the middle of a steady stream of serious calls for township officers. The Upper Darby Police Department's November 2025 calls-for-service report lists four robberies for that month, while weapons-related and aggravated-assault calls appeared more often. The figures show that while robbery is not the most common incident category, it remains a persistent part of the workload as investigators chase down armed suspects like the Clover Lane pair.
Violence Has Cropped Up This Month
The Clover Lane robbery is not the only serious case taxing Upper Darby investigators this month. Earlier in May, a fatal domestic stabbing on May 5 drew a major response, according to Patch. Authorities have not suggested any link between that case and the Clover Lane robbery, and police say the gunpoint robbery investigation remains active.
