According to a press release from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, the America250 Fireworks Celebration is being designed and produced by Fireworks by Grucci in partnership with Visit Las Vegas and Las Vegas Events, with shows scheduled for 9 p.m. on Saturdays from June 6 through July 25. "We're marking America's 250th anniversary with fireworks lighting up the skyline across eight consecutive Saturdays," LVCVA President and CEO Steve Hill said in the release. On June 13 the action shifts to MGM Grand, ARIA and Planet Hollywood, then moves downtown on June 20 with launches from The Plaza, Binion's and the Fremont Street Experience parking garages. June 27 brings fireworks from Resorts World, Fontainebleau and The STRAT, followed by a massive synchronized nine rooftop production on July 4. At the same time, the Sphere's Exosphere will run coordinated visuals every Saturday throughout June and July. As part of the America250 "Great American Road Trip" effort, Las Vegas is also taking the show on the road with pop up activations on Thursday, May 7 in Los Angeles County, San Diego and the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. The first 100 cars at each stop will receive $100 in gas, drivers can pose for photos with showgirls and guests can enter for a chance to win a two night stay in Las Vegas.
