As reported by The Baltimore Banner, owner Sip Woodod teamed up with Pikesville operator Adnan Azam to bring The Halal Spot to western Baltimore County. "There's a good Desi community here," Woodod told the outlet, and Azam said the growing Muslim community "needed something like this."
