Coppia, the intimate fine-dining hideaway tucked inside the Lake County Executive Airport in Willoughby, is preparing for its final landing. Chefs and co-owners Talia and Hedy Trovato plan to close the restaurant next month after accepting staff positions at Walt Disney World in Orlando. The couple, who moved their concept to Willoughby after outgrowing their original Chesterland location, expect to serve their last dinner service on Saturday, June 20, 2026. Their social media announcement caught regulars and local dining watchers off guard.
As reported by Cleveland.com, the Trovatos confirmed in social posts that they had accepted roles with Walt Disney World and would step away from day-to-day operations at Coppia. The outlet also notes that reservations and private chef ’s-table experiences remain available to book through the restaurant’s final service date.
Reservations and the Willoughby location
Per Coppia, the restaurant’s address is listed as 1731 Lost Nation Road, with dinner service offered Wednesday through Saturday evenings. The website directs guests to SevenRooms for reservations, and the booking platform currently shows chef ’s-table experiences and event dates open through mid-June.
The chefs and their résumé
Chefs Talia and Hedy Trovato drew broader attention after winning Food Network competitions and shifting their concept north from Chesterland, according to Cleveland Magazine. The publication reports that the pair first met while cooking at Disney’s Grand Floridian. Their carefully choreographed tasting menus and intimate chef ’s-table format helped turn Coppia into a destination for diners seeking a multi-course experience.
What’s next for the hangar
Cleveland.com also reports that Legends Aviation, which manages the hangar complex, is looking for a new restaurant tenant to take over Coppia’s space once the Trovatos depart. For now, the couple plans to honor existing reservations and private events through the June 20 service while the search for a successor gets underway.
Diners hoping to visit Coppia one more time before the Trovatos leave can check the restaurant’s site for standard reservations and chef’s-table listings. The move sends the duo back to Orlando for their new roles and leaves a short window for Willoughby guests to experience one last service from the pair.
